Beginning at approximately 3:45 pm UTC, Looker connections to all Snowflake PDWs began failing. This resulted in users getting errors in their dashboards and looks because the underlying queries couldn’t connect to Snowflake.
At approximately 4:30 pm UTC, the connections were reset, and Looker was functional again.
We don’t have a root cause at this time, but we’ll be conducting a post-mortem to investigate and see what steps we can implement to prevent a reoccurrence.
